Charles’s passion for building, fostering and coaching teams first developed while working in the Management Consulting arena; first at Andersen/Accenture and then Ernst & Young. Entrepreneurial at heart, he founded a small web company, Vertecon, which quickly achieved success and merged with Perficient in2002. Charles purchased Oakwood Systems Group, Inc. in 2003 and successfully grew Oakwood to become the premier Microsoft Solutions Partner in the North Central Region. As Oakwood was evolving to meet the needs of Middle Market businesses, it was obvious that there existed another need for a similar opportunity to bring a different approach to the IT Staffing industry. Talentporte was born in 2007 as Charles targeted the need for a business to provide Oakwood’s clients as well as new clients, with both Microsoft and non-Microsoft resources in a contract, right to hire or permanent basis. Talentporte has been designed to bring a remarkable hiring experience to both their customers as well as employees. The results have been remarkable!
Linda brings 25+ years professional experience in Full Life Cycle Recruitment in the Information Technology and Professional Services industries. Linda joined Talentporte in August, after a ten year career at Talentporte’s sister company, Oakwood System Group. Linda is responsible for ensuring IT professionals understand and achieve their career objectives. Linda shares the many Talentporte client opportunities and ensures candidates are well-aligned to a role that will allow a rewarding career move as well as meets the client’s hiring criteria. In her personal life, Linda devotes her time to her family and friends. She enjoys outdoor activities, especially those on or near water.
Danielle has been a member of the Talentporte team since 2010. She is a results-driven, full life cycle Senior Technical Recruiting professional with 7+ years of resourceful recruitment and unrivaled client service. Danielle is a determined leader with a proven track record of successfully locating, identifying, and closing top candidate talent. Some of Danielle’s success is focusing on positions that are unique or hard-to-fill. Danielle possesses a strong desire to build and maintain both candidate and client relationships, while creating and developing innovative techniques to market and place top talent. She utilizes a consultative approach and unwavering commitment to exceed client expectations. She joined Lindenwood University with a volleyball scholarship and graduated with her BS in Business Management. While away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, remaining active by playing volleyball and soccer as well as playing poker!
Steve joined the Talentporte team in July of 2014. A seasoned sales professional of eight years, Steve has served multiple industries and brings that experience to his interaction with our customers. As is the goal for Talentporte, it’s Steve’s desire to not only make great relationships on the client side, but also strengthen that bond by bringing only quality candidates to our partners. Born and raised in St. Louis, Steve almost knows someone everywhere and uses these relationships to extend our reach in the market. Active with JDRF fighting Type 1 diabetes, Steve spends his other free time enjoying his family, participating in sports, and (sarcastically) heckling his coworkers.
